Day 1 Casablanca

Meet your driver at Casablanca airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. An afternoon panoramic city tour with your driver including a stop at the famous Hassan II Mosque (outside only), for a 45min stop. The Hassan II Mosque, built on the shoreline just beyond the northern tip of the Medina, is one of the biggest in the world. The Mosque opened in 1993 and can accommodate up to 100 000 people, 25000 of them in its main central hall. Overnight.

Day 2 Casablanca - Larache - Lixus - Chefchaouen

Distance: 340km
Breakfast. Head north along the coast towards Larache, for a short break. Larache is a relaxed and easygoing summer resort town. On to the Roman ruins at Lixus before continuing to the charming blue and white town Chefchaouen. Free time. Overnight.

Day 3 Chefchaouen

Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore. It was founded by Moulay Ali ben Rachid in 1471 as a base from which to attack the Portuguese in Ceuta, the town prospered and grew considerably with the arrival of Muslim refugees from Spain. It was these refugees who built the whitewashed houses with blue painted doors and window frames, tiny balconies, tiled roofs and patios with a citrus tree planted right in the centre which give the town a truly Hispanic feel. Overnight.

Day 4 Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes

Distance: 200km
Breakfast. A leisurely morning as you travel south towards Fes, with a stop on the way to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue to Meknes and city tour with local guide including the Bab El Mansour Gate, Hari Souani stables and the old Medina. Free afternoon. Overnight.

Day 5 Meknes - Fes

Breakfast. A short trip to Fes, the intellectual, religious and artistic capital of the country. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the city with a local guide, visiting the Medina and colourful souks with the tanneries quarter. Overnight.

Day 6 Fes

Breakfast. Today enjoy a half day tour of Fes. You will visit the Karaouiyne University, Nejarrine Fountain, the historic Medersas and the Mechouar of the Royal Palace. Free afternoon. Overnight.

Day 7 Fes - Rabat

Breakfast. Depart Fes as you travel to Rabat, capital of the kingdom. On arrival, your driver will take you to the delightful Kasbah des Oudayas, built out on the bluff overlooking the estuary and the Atlantic ocean. Free time to explore the city. Rabat, known as the ‘White City’, owing to its whitewashed narrow streets, its beautiful houses with overhanging balconies and ornate doors of multicoloured mosaics. Rabat’s most famous landmark is the Tour Hassan, which overlooks the bridge to Sale. Overnight.

Day 8 Rabat - Casablanca

Breakfast and transfer to Casablanca airport.
