Day 1 Barcelona

Arrival in Barcelona Port where you are transferred to your hotel in the centre of town. Check-in and relax. Overnight.

Day 2 Barcelona

Breakfast. A gourmet half day tour today with a private guide, where you will visit Barcelona’s two great food markets – the famous Boqueria market and the traditional Santa Caterina market.  Experience the energy of these bustling food markets offering a spectacular array of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, flowers and more.  The tour continues as you head to the famous Els 4 Gats, the famous Modernist artists café frequented by a young Picasso and architect Antoni Gaudi, among many others.  Here you can enjoy some tapas or a meal (payable locally), as you farewell your guide. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 3 Barcelona - San Sebastian

Transfer to the station and take the train north to San Sebastian. Arrival and transfer to your hotel in the centre of town. A special small group dining experience, sampling the very finest pintxos (tapas) in San Sebastián. Using our expert, up to the minute knowledge, we guide you on an informal and inspiring culinary experience, hopping-from-bar-to-bar on an evening of eating and drinking your way around the old town of San Sebastián. Overnight.

Day 4 San Sebastian

This morning enjoy a Seaside Sculpture ride! Enjoy the picturesque landscape as you pedal along with our expert culture guide, who will lead a small, exclusive group along a carefully mapped path of the most important monuments and sights in San Sebastian. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 5 San Sebastian

Free day. The old town, Parte Vieja, is wedged between the bay and the Rio Urumea.  The alleys of the old town, packed with restaurants and tapas bars are intensely animated at night.  The heart of the old town is the Plaza de la Constitucion where numbers on the balconies date from when the square was used as a bullring. Overnight.

Day 6 San Sebastian - Bilbao

Transfer to Bilbao by private vehicle. In the afternoon visit the Guggenheim Museum at leisure. The permanent collection found in the Museum Guggenheim Bilbao mainly includes works by the most prominent artists in the last forty years.  It is complemented by other collections from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation - which include significant examples of Pop Art, Minimalism, Arte Povera, Conceptual Art, Abstract Expressionism, etc. - together with other programs organised by the Foundation.  Overnight.

Day 7 Bilbao
