ATaste of Mallorca

A Taste of Mallorca

Mallorca’s mild climate and lovely beaches have made it a popular tourist destination. Enjoy the elegance of the old city of Palma and the fine beaches of the north coast.

Day 1 Palma de Mallorca

Arrival in Palma where you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 Palma de Mallorca

Breakfast. A free day to explore the city at leisure. The hub of Palma city is the old-fashioned Passeig des Born, whose cafes invite you to try one of Mallorca's specialities, the ensaimada, a spiral of pastry dusted with icing sugar. You can visit the Gothic cathedral and the nearby Palau de l'Almudaina, a once-royal Moorish palace which now houses a museum. This evening, enjoy a local food and wine tasting. This relaxed yet informative tasting will satisfy the wine fan’s thirst for extensive knowledge of contemporary island winemaking as well as the novice visitor interested in sampling the best the island has to offer. Our sommelier will also pair the wines with bites of local, artisan products. Overnight.

Day 3 Palma de Mallorca

Day 4 Palma de Mallorca

Breakfast. Enjoy strolling the streets of the old town of Palma and be sure not to miss Palma's Gothic castle - the Castell de Bellver. It was commissioned by Jaime II during the short-lived Kingdom of Mallorca (1276-1349) as a summer residence, but soon after became a prison and remained as such until 1915. Overnight.
