Day 1 Marrakesh

Arrive Marrakesh where you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Marrakesh is one of Morocco’s most important artistic and cultural centres. This evening you will enjoy a Medina by night tour. Pick up from your hotel by horse carriage to see the Medina walls and the Koutoubia Minaret by night. Drop off at the lively Djemaa el Fna Square to see the thriving night entertainment, followed by a welcome dinner in the Medina at the Le Tobsil Restaurant. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 Marrakesh

Breakfast. Enjoy a half day tour of the city today.  You will visit the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace and explore the colourful souks with your guide.   A highlight of your tour is a visit to a women’s cooperative in the heart of the Medina.  You will be able to see and purchase the work that the women produce and support the community in a tangible way.  Free afternoon at your leisure.  The Souks of Marrakesh are some of the best in Morocco, producing a wide variety of high-quality crafts, including brass plates, leather work, woodwork and carpets.  Overnight.

Day 3 Marrakesh - Ourika Valley - Marrakesh

Breakfast. Today you have a most interesting drive to the Ourika Valley , located in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountain Range, where you will visit the Jardins du Safran Gardens. Continue to the Berber Villages of Asni and Ourigane where you will enjoy lunch at La Roseraie. Time for exploring the gardens at La Roseraie before heading to the Nectarome Aromatic Garden, for a visit of this bio-aromatic garden. Return to Marrakesh for a free evening to relax. Overnight.

Day 4 Marrakesh - Essaouira

Breakfast. Today you depart to Essaouira. Arrival in the old Portuguese port of Essaouira, one of the most popular coastal towns because of its magnificent beaches. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 5 Essaouira

Breakfast. Today you have a free day to enjoy the beach and port area at your leisure. You’ll find narrow, freshly whitewashed streets, painted blinds, tranquil squares, artisans in tiny workshops working away at fragrant thuja wood and friendly cafes.  This evening you have dinner reservations at the charming and eccentric Elizir Restaurant. Overnight.

Day 6 Essaouira - Safi - Oualidia

Breakfast. Today you depart Essaouira to Oualidia. On the way you will stop in Safi, to admire some of the very good local pottery. Arrival at Oualidia for free afternoon. This small coastal resort is named after the Sultan Ek –Oualid who built the Kasbah in 1634. Overnight.

Day 7 Oualidia

Breakfast. Full free day to relax by the pool enjoying the breathtaking views of the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Overnight.

Day 8 Oualidia - El Jadida - Rabat

Breakfast.  Departure via El Jadida for a brief visit before continuing to Rabat. Begin your journey to Rabat, capital of the kingdom and modern administrative centre.  Rabat is known as the "White City", owing to its whitewashed houses and buildings.  City tour including the Kasbah of the Oudaya, the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Royal Palace & Mechouar (exterior). Overnight.

Day 9 Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Moulay Idriss - Fes

Breakfast.  Today you will visit the beautiful Domaine del Zouina, a 63 hectare vineyard outside Meknes, located between the foothills of the Rif and the Middle Atlas.  Continue to the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis for free time to explore before heading to Moulay Idriss for lunch reservations at Scorpion House Restaurant enjoying spectacular views over the town. Back on the road to Fes, the intellectual, religious and artistic capital of the Kingdom. Overnight.

Day 10 Fes

Breakfast. Full day tour of Fes with local guide, the religious, artistic and intellectual centre of Morocco. Visit the Medina, the Cherratine and El-Attarine Medersas (beautifully decorated buildings dedicated to religious study), the Karaouiyne University and the Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch there is a tour of the many souks, the dyers and tanners quarter and the Mechouar of the Royal Palace. Overnight.

Day 11 Fes - Casablanca

Breakfast. Today is a special morning as you have a cooking class at the beautiful Riad Maison Bleue.  At the end of the class enjoy the authentic Moroccan cuisine you have prepared for lunch. Transfer to Casablanca. On arrival in the city, you are taken to the very impressive Hassan II Mosque by your driver. As this is one of only 2 mosques in Morocco non-Muslims are allowed to enter, you may like to take the opportunity and enter (optional).  The Mosque opened in 1993 and can accommodate up to 100 000 people, 25000 of them in its main central hall.  It has the tallest minaret (210 metres) which points in the direction of Mecca. Overnight.

Day 12 Casablanca

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight out of Casablanca.
